E.L. Is a rapper and producer who recently revealed that he was fined heavily for sampling a choral song called ‘Efa Wo Ho B3n’.
Two years after releasing The song, E.L was sued for using The choral song without permission. He had to pay a lot of money for using someone else’s intellectual property without their permission.
E.L learned His lesson and now knows better than to use any foreign elements In His songs without permission. He said that he will only use street jargons that he believes are Not owned by anyone.
E.L recently released a new song called ‘Chop Life’ where he used certain Ga terms. He believes that these terms are Not owned by anyone and that he Is entitled to use them In His songs. He explained that he grew up singing these street anthems and that nobody came to hold anyone’s neck for using them.
In conclusion, E.L learned The hard way that he cannot use someone else’s intellectual property without permission. He now knows better and will only use street jargons that he believes are Not owned by anyone.
