Kennedy Agyapong adopts brother of murdered soldier at Ashaiman (See details)

Kennedy Agyapong Has taken on The job of caring for Sherrif Imoro’s younger brother, after The military officer was slain at Ashaiman.

According to a news release issued by The Ghanaian Parliament on March 16th, Agyapong would pay for The deceased’s brother’s education from elementary to university level.

On March 4th, 2023, Imoro, a 22-year-old trooper, was reportedly robbed and slain by area thugs who were later arrested.

Afterwards, The military raided Ashaiman, resulting In The arrest of 184 persons and The confiscation of illicit substances.

When footage of troops hitting locals spread on Social media, The military’s actions were condemned for their harshness.

Agyapong chaired a group that comprised The Minister of Defence and military men throughout The operation.

The committee sent condolences to Imoro’s family and vowed to look after His younger sibling.

In addition to paying for His schooling, Agyapong gave The family 20,000 Ghanaian cedis and promised to finish The astroturf park In The village and name it after Imoro.

According to a Peace FM report, Agyapong reportedly pledged to find a job for The younger sibling after he finished His schooling.

Many Ghanaians Have praised The act, seeing it as a show of compassion and support for The military.

Although The military action In Ashaiman Has been criticized, Agyapong’s dedication to Imoro’s family Has been greatly lauded.
