A report from Several sources says that Amotekun Corps agents Have caught a 30-year-old man named Daniel Chigozie for allegedly selling His 9-month-old son to three different people.
David Akinremi, who Is In charge of The Corps In Ogun State, says that The agency found out from Daniel Chinonye Darlington’s father that he had been moved around a lot.
He claims that Chigozie sold The young child to three different customers at various places In The Sango, Meiran, and Apapa neighborhoods of Lagos. Unknown buyers gave The suspect, a resident of Abela In Sango Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, N150,000, N400,000, and N700,000 between August 2022 and February 2023.
Akinremi adds that The corps’ investigation found that The man, who Is suspected of cooperating With a criminal organization, created a way for retrieving His son from each buyer after each sale until he sold him to The final buyer, a Dr. Nosa In Apapa.
In His confessional statement, Chigozie admitted to The crime. He Is being profiled by NAPTIP, The National Agency for The Prevention of Trafficking In People, In order to find The youngster and pursue criminal charges.
