A Video shared on Twitter by user @Naija_PR showed a police van involved In a car chase that ended up crushing a customer’s vehicle.
The incident was very unfortunate and happened because The police officers mistook a mechanic for an “internet fraudster.”
The Video footage quickly went Viral on Social media. It showed The police van chasing a vehicle on a busy street.
During The chase, The police van collided With a parked car that belonged to a customer who had brought it to The mechanic’s workshop for repairs.
The police officers mistook The mechanic, who was test-driving The customer’s vehicle, for a suspect involved In fraudulent activities.
They believed They were pursuing a criminal and engaged In a high-speed chase that resulted In a collision With The innocent customer’s car.
